Empowering Societies to chart their digital future (2)

As modern governments increasingly rely on modern architecture to help them transform services and operations, there is an increasing need for digital teams which are able to translate and implement a technology strategy that pairs well with their governments’ vision. This is where GovStack Architects come in, providing the baseline for building sustainable digital infrastructure and improving interoperability between government entities. This course gives a foundational understanding of how the key GovStack Building Blocks (BBs) and  PAERA principles work together to create a robust digital government ecosystem.

Accreditation from TalTech: Earn 6 ECTS which can be applied towards the one-year Master’s program in e-Governance Technologies and Services.

Target group: Government Architects, Solution Architects

Education: We require participants to have a completed BSc (or equivalent) in IT (e.g. Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering) or related technical discipline.

The program is designed for seasoned practitioners who have:

  • A minimum of five years of practical experience in enterprise/solution architecture within the public or private sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in public sector administration, showcasing a deep understanding of governmental operations and regulatory frameworks.
  • A solid understanding of business operations, organizational context, and aligning technology solutions with business requirements.
  • Additionally, candidates should possess a proven track record of successfully delivering software solutions within the public sector context.
  • For promising young practitioners who do not meet the minimum experience criteria, special consideration will be given upon submission of a nomination letter from their respective organizations, endorsing their participation in the training program.

All applications to participate in the GovStack Architects Program should be submitted through the form below, including:

  • A detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV) outlining their academic, professional and other relevant experiences
  • A link to their LinkedIn profile
  • An active email address for contact purposes
  • A letter of recommendation or proof of current employment from the head of the unit for  young practitioners

Applications will be accepted until the 11th of August 2024 (end of the day) CET.

  • All applications submitted on or before the 11th of August 2024 CET will be considered.
  • The submitted applications will be reviewed by a panel of GovStack partners.
  • The selected participants will be contacted through the email they provided as part of their application on or before the 1st of Sep 2024.
